Shirley Elford, Blown Glass Vase

Beautiful blown glass vase by Shirley Elford, in shades of mauve, lavender and teal. This is a lovely glass vase in excellent, vintage condition and is signed by the artist.

Shirley Elford was a renowned glass artist in Hamilton, Ontario. Her work has appeared in many galleries, was gifted to visiting dignitaries, and she was well known for having redesigned the Juno Award, Canada's top music award.

The blown glass angels she created later in her career became her lasting legacy. Each one is unique and Shirley believed her angels 'know where they have to go. They have a job to do.'
