Holiday Shipping Dates
All orders from WithAPast are currently being shipped via courier. The last shipment dates for orders to be delivered before December 25th are listed below. Canada Post is currently on strike so shipping via Canada Post is not an option until the strike is settled. Unfortunately, couriers are unable to deliver to Post Office boxes.
US Tariffs
There has been much in the news lately about possible new US tariffs being imposed on goods entering the US from Canada and Mexico. As WithAPast is a Canadian store, there is a real possibility that customers will pay between 10-25% more for items listed on this site, and any other site that is hosted in Canada or Mexico. So, if there's something that you have your eye on, it might be a good idea to make your purchase before the end of the year. While we will not be increasing our prices at WithAPast, we have no control on new tariffs that may be imposed on imports to the US from Canada. Hopefully this new US strategy doesn't come to be. Fingers crossed!
Taxes and Shipping Rates
The prices you see on any listed item are the full price you will be charged for that item, with the exception of shipping. Shipping charges are a flat rate and are as follows:
$10.00 to ship within Canada for items under $50.00
Free Shipping within Canada for any items over $50.00
$15.00 Shipping to the US
$30.00 Shipping is initially charged for International orders. A firm quote for any International order will be obtained and we will email you with the final shipping costs before shipping your order.
Our 10th Anniversary
January 1, 2025 marks the official 10 year anniversary of WithAPast. So, this seems like the perfect time to reflect and post some updates.
We've grown far beyond our expectations for this little e-commerce venture and with that growth we've managed to maintain our original purpose. We give new life to some beautiful and classic home and décor items. And, by using repurposed, recyclable or recycled packaging to ship orders, a purchase made from WithAPast by default has a much lower carbon footprint than a purchase made from most other retailers. A very good thing!
We have shipped orders to 9 Canadian Provinces and 1Territory,16 European Countries and many cities within 45 US States.
We hope we're able to continue for many years to come!
