Walter Campbell, Signed Print, Bigelo House

This print, signed by the artist, is from a series of architectural prints circa 1978. In excellent, vintage condition. Print is beautifully displayed in a carved wooden frame, with taupe double matting, to compliment the colours of the print.  A lovely example of the Victorian architecture this artist showcases in much of his work.  An embossed watermark can be seen beside the signature on lower right.

Depicting the Joseph & Elizabeth Bigelow home in Port Perry, Ontario, Joseph Bigelow was the first mayor of Port Perry, in Durham County. The Italianate architectural home was built in 1876.
