This stone cut is labeled in pencil "Eskimo Western Arctic 1969", titled "Children playing on Igloo" and numbered 6 of 50. It bears the old Holmon ulu stamp. It is in excellent, vintage condition. This image is on paper, double matted under glass, in a gold coloured wood frame. There are some dings and scratches on the frame.
Peter Aliknak's work is held in numerous public collections, including the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, ON, and the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC.
