A very nice set of linen napkins embellished on one corner with drawn thread embroidery and hardanger stitching. Each napkin is hem stitched. All are in excellent, vintage condition. This listing is for a set of fifteen (15) napkins.
Hardanger is a Norwegian embroidery technique that involves stitching geometric patterns onto fabric using a combination of satin stitches, kloster blocks, and cutwork.
