Royal Crown Derby Platypus paperweight. Modeled by Robert Jefferson, decorated by Brian Branscombe. Introduced in 1988 to celebrate the bicentennial year of Australia. Retired in 1992. In excellent, vintage condition with no chips, cracks or marks or repairs. The gold stopper on the base is intact.
