Lovely set of eight (8) placemats and table runner. All are in excellent, vintage condition however, there is some fraying of threads around the edges of all pieces as shown in the photos. A beautiful set.

Hardanger is Norwegian embroidery technique. It involves stitching geometric patterns onto fabric using a combination of satin stitches, kloster blocks, and cutwork.
