A vibrant earth toned mid-century pottery vase from Spara West Germany.
Spara was a small West German pottery manufacturer operating from the late 1960s to the mid 1980s. They were best known for their handmade fireclay vases featuring bold, earthy glazes and textured finishes.
This piece is finished in a tribal or sgrafitto pattern sought after by collectors. Interior has a dark brown glossy glaze. The vase is in excellent, vintage condition and still has the Spara foil label attached. This piece was likely produced in the mid-1960s to mid-1970s.

14" (H), 25-3/4" circumference at widest point. Weight is 5 lbs.
