Ayers Woolen Mills operated in Lachute, Quebec from 1880 until they closed in or around the 1980's. They were know for producing soft, woolen Ayers blankets.

This blanket is deep red in colour with a black stripe on each end. In very good vintage condition.

Wool blankets are a natural product. Biodegradable, hypoallergenic and naturally fire resistant. Can be hand washed.
